Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a travel contract on Nantucket Island, MA, requiring an active MA RN license and AHA-only BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a community hospital serving a year-round island population of 15,000+ residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
• 36 hours per week with rotating shifts
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be AHA-only
• Active MA RN license must be in hand prior to consideration — no pending license accepted
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
• The hospital is a full-service community facility founded in 1911, located on an island approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
