American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Neuro unit position in Wichita, KS, requiring a valid KS or compact RN license and experience with orthopedic/neurological patient populations.

Details

• 41-bed Med/Surg unit with an orthopedic focus, including spine and joint surgery patients
• Orthopedic and neurological patient population
• Day shift: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• MOAB De-Escalation Training required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to orthopedic and neurological patients, including those recovering from spine and joint surgeries
• Holiday coverage is required for both July 4th and Labor Day
• Local candidates may be considered, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
