American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR (Cardiovascular OR) position in Gainesville, FL, requiring at least 1 year of CVOR experience and active FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 3-OR Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Staffed alongside Surgical Techs and RNs
• Procedures performed include CABG, TAVR, and VATS
• Documentation system is Meditech
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with on-call requirements
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience required
• RN circulating experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Circulating RN responsibilities in an open heart/cardiovascular OR setting
• Facility scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
