American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR RN for a 13-week travel contract supporting cardiac surgical care across a diverse patient population, with rotating weekend requirements.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Operating Room department specializing in cardiac surgery
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
• Serves both same-day surgical and inpatient admission cases across a variety of provider specialties
• Day shift with a varied schedule and rotating weekends

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
• OR RN license required
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing course
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU/PCU and/or medical-surgical acute care setting
• CVOR/Open Heart experience preferred
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred

• Responsibilities include circulating in cardiac surgical cases and supporting procedural sedation patients
