American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Charlevoix, MI, requiring 2+ years of LTC experience and an active Michigan RN license.

Details

• Long term care (LTC) setting
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN long term care (LTC) experience required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Additional Information

• Provides patient care and treatment under the direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or team leader in alignment with established hospital methods and procedures
• Demonstrates understanding of patient- and family-centered care principles
• A strict 3-strike attendance policy is enforced: three instances of absence or tardiness of more than 20 minutes will result in immediate termination; exceptions may be made for communicable illness or hospitalization with supporting documentation
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
• Having MI LTC fingerprinting already completed is a plus
