American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring a current HI RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Room department in a hospital setting
• 28-bed ER department including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required by start of assignment — candidates without one must apply upon acceptance of offer
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the assignment start date — plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to complete the Friday morning Employee Health appointment
• This appointment is held at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory
