Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a 3rd Floor Overflow unit, requiring at least one year of RN experience and the ability to float throughout the hospital.

Details

• 3rd Floor Overflow unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Patients present with a variety of health conditions ranging from simple to complex acuity
• Med/Surg and step-down experience required for this role
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be floated to any area of the hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Med/Surg and step-down clinical experience required
• Full Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic documentation
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates must be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon accepting an offer
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period following a maximum of 26 cumulative weeks
