Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric ER RN with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric ED experience and active MA RN license for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Pediatric Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM–11:30 PM), 36 hours per week
• Shift start time has flexibility of up to four hours before or after the posted 11:00 AM start time based on department need
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG test
• Two professional references required for consideration, one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
• No candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will be considered

• Provide emergency nursing care to a pediatric patient population
• Epic EMR experience is strongly preferred and may support a smoother transition into the role
