American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact license, with multiple required certifications including TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 0700–1930
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO single-state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (all must be AHA and remain active through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment and monitors treatment plans
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
