Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with a TX or compact license and at least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience for a 13-week hospital assignment.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting
• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
• Prepare, implement, and document the plan of care for each patient
• Communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies used during procedures
• Radius rules apply and may affect pay rate for local candidates
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
