American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a freestanding ER position requiring 1+ years of recent acute care ED experience and CPI certification.

Details

• Work in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department (FSED)
• Staffing includes 2 RNs per shift 24/7, 1 paramedic 40 hours/week, 1 MD 24/7, 1 radiology tech 24/7, and 1 security guard 24/7
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses GE monitors and Baxter pumps for patient care
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Works night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Performs EKGs, IVs, and medication administration
• Performs conscious sedation and wound care procedures
• May float between ED departments as needed

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and PALS
• CPI Blue Card certification required
• TNCC certification required for ER placement
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ED RN experience required
• Must be able to work mid-shift/night shift
• ER charge RN experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
