American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a critical access hospital position requiring OR licensure and the ability to float to MedSurg.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access, trauma level 4 hospital with 25 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45am to 7:15pm
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to MedSurg required as needed, with OB experience considered a plus
• Block scheduling accommodated depending on facility needs
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active Oregon RN license required in hand (pending license accepted with proof of application submission)
• 1+ years of ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, TNCC, and ACLS
• NIHSS certification preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care with occasional support to the MedSurg unit
• Scrubs of any color or pattern are acceptable
• RTO must be submitted and approved at time of application; requests made after offer will not be approved
• Cannot request every holiday off
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to return as a traveler
