Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with strong CRRT skills for a night shift assignment requiring WI or Compact RN licensure and prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 4x12-hour night shifts, including 1900-0700 and 0000-1200 schedules
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:2-3
• Float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand
• NIHSS certification required, may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Strong CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) skills required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Two supervisor references within the past year required, with at least one from the most recent assignment and one from the second most recent assignment
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with complex, multisystem needs
• Skills utilized may include arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and titration of vasoactive drips
• Experience with cardiovascular, neurological, and respiratory critical care skills is beneficial
• A video interview may be required depending on candidate eligibility

• Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Orientation includes modules averaging 3-4 hours in length
