American Traveler is hiring an RN - Behavioral Health with 2+ years of current psych experience and an active KY or compact RN license for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the Behavioral Health unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule rotating between 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• 36/48 rotating schedule totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Bi-weekly orientation

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY State or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and CPI
• Minimum 2 years of current Behavioral Health/Psych experience required
• Valid driver's license required with address matching permanent address
• Two professional references required: one Charge or higher and one Supervisor, both completed within the last year

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Behavioral Health unit
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Up to 7 days of RTO considered if presented upfront with no changes accepted after submission
• Must work either a major or minor shift on every holiday
• Travelers working with the health system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
• Traveler pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
