American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN requiring 1 year of skilled home health and OASIS experience for a day-shift position serving the West Salem/Keizer area.

Details

• Home Health setting serving patients in the West Salem/Keizer area and surrounding communities, with potential visits to Woodburn
• 1:1 patient ratio, with up to 6 patient visits per day and a standard of 30 productivity points
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM), 5 days per week
• May be required to work some weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between like units required
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Charting completed in Epic and OASIS

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact), pending license accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Reliable personal transportation required for home visits
• Primary series COVID-19 vaccination plus one booster required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled home health nursing care including admission assessments, start of care, recertification, resumption of care, and routine visits
• Perform wound care, medication administration and management, pain assessment, and infection control precautions
• Administer medications via intramuscular, intravenous, and subcutaneous routes, and perform phlebotomy and IV management as needed
• System groups clients to minimize drive time, though occasional travel radius may exceed 50 miles
• Scrub attire of any color or business casual accepted, excluding blue denim
• Free parking available and mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at the same pay rate
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
